I'm grateful for the opportunity to write a review on the Hyrum Cache Valley Health Clinic. I want to paint a little picture of my situation at the time little over 2 years ago when is spring of 2015 I slipped and fell and hit my head knocking me unconscious and sustaining a major concussion a major concussion. Major concussion would be an understatement I the experienced two weeks of total amnesia, and many other health issues sprang up, all where related two the head injury. Here is what made this health condition so much more than it would have been. I had just two months earlyer moved to Hyrum Utah from the Wasatch front after a very difficult divorce so I was new to the area relocated myself to Cache Valley & Bang I Had A Serious Accident Suffering a head injury! I Had Slipped While Walking at a fast pace striking the top rear of my head. I was knocked uncontious, transported by ambulance & once I regaind conctiouness I had lost my memory; Yes Total Amnisa I had no idea what my name was where I live this Amnesia period lasting for 2 weeks right after leaving the hospital I was directed to the closest medical facility in refrance to my new home, The Bear Lake Community Health Center Hyrum Utah. Dr. Colby J. Martin PA-C Medical Doctor and his staff of which at that time consisted of Mr. Ashley Peterson/MA, Mr. Annie Torres/Patient Advocate. Play me paint a little picture I was 53 years old newly-divorced all alone I own my own businesses I spend a great deal of time early in my life in the military where my job was as a combat Soldier, essentially every single detail in the world around me I was trained and has a natural ability to memorize and know I cold 3-bathroom Science degrees and an upper graduate degrees as well so having just suffered a major brain injury not even being able to recall my name nor where I lived for two weeks was to say the least more terrifying than anything on the battlefield to this Man. I my own two small businesses how much I was very proud of due to their success moving to Hyrum I Was preparing to sell them it was all of that gone also many other medical issues arose from this situation. Now you may understand a little bit better because it was the medical staff and a medical care I received through Bear Lake Community Health centers and specially dr. Colby Martin and Miss Annie Torres. Annie knew that I was more than injured that I was frightened I have no one I'm alone I can't remember my name I don't know where I live this woman made all of the appointment arrangements for all the special Dr I needed help with attorney on her own time dr. Colby had the office put together a bunch of over the counter medications and stuff to help me and he would come and pick me up if I had a small seizure on the way to the store and get lost she would run and get me and take me to the doctor's office where I could recover here's an old combat Soldier who never really knew fear until he had no memory no longer young and is agile as I once was and they knew it they understood it without them I wouldn't have made it so this is much more than a review at the present it's all I can do for them is to let everyone that reads my review understand what level does people went for an Ole Boy Like Me there is no way I can say thank you to have the finest medical treatment I've ever had in my life by those who care who cared about me is a very humbling experience not only what I recommend this office and this Medical Institution my family, and any other family or person who's concerned about the quality of medical care they're going to receive fivestars is not adequate Andy Torres dr. Colby Martin are my heroes and I'm forever grateful and and I'm grateful for the opportunity to let every single person I can know what they did for me please if you read this pass it on others need to know how wonderful these people really are.
